So what trends are emerging for the jubilee year? Well, the jubilee weekend itself is booking up nicely. The Saturday wedding no longer takes top spot.
Ballet – maybe in response to ‘Degas and the Ballet: Picturing Movement’, exhibition at the Royal Academy? Or maybe Black Swan? A love of pink, frills and ruffles. OK you minimalists I can hear you groaning at the thought, but surely everyone loves a Peony Sarah Bernhardt and soft pink Ranunculas?
All soft and romantic, and with classic candelabra, and black and white theme – should set it all off nicely.
More trends to follow. But as far as I can tell – Milk Tray/Cadbury purple has hit the dust!
