The Perfect Jacket

No, I’ve not gone all fashion guru. No fear. Just a trip to the plot to stop the rot. Pumpkins forgotten about, turned to vile slimy blobs. Bean poles dismantled and added to the compost.

And with a bit of forward planning a few spuds plonked in the oven before leaving.  On returning with the first of this season’s leeks, quickly sauted in a little butter, stir in a little grated cheddar and bingo, the perfect jacket.  No talk of ‘boyfriend’, killer heels and lunch with the girls – I’ll leave that to the experts.
