And with a bit of forward planning a few spuds plonked in the oven before leaving. On returning with the first of this season’s leeks, quickly sauted in a little butter, stir in a little grated cheddar and bingo, the perfect jacket. No talk of ‘boyfriend’, killer heels and lunch with the girls – I’ll leave that to the experts.
