When we were one

Tonight, cooking for one.  Now I could have resorted to a takeaway, but really that’s not my style.  So as the self proclaimed queen of soup here is today’s super quick soup entitled  simply ‘One’.

One head of broccolli (I can never spell this so apologise in advance)

One onion

One courgette

One potato

One stock cube, pinch of salt and sprinkle of thyme.

Chop everything small, add water, cook for 15 minutes and wizz.  Serve into a bowl that has one thick slice of Websters organic blue stilton and stir.  Delish.  Even if it looks like green goo!

Been working on using the vintage china in the shop and came up with a variation on a march stand (something from the victorian era).  Work in progress.

And as it’s all about the hydrangea at the moment, well it is for me as they rock.  Here’s a few that were saved from yesterday’s hail storm – poor things were battered.  And I don’t know about you, but I’ve never slipped on ice in June!
