After a hectic week it had to be a chilling weekend of yummy food, and a trip to my rose supplier.  First things first, catch up on the world (Observer), I’m always thankful for the lack of celebrity chit chat – and true to form there wasn’t a single mention of the ‘Moss’ wedding.

Two course breakfast – starting with cherries and a very ripe melon – followed by scrambled eggs and smoked salmon.

'Bride'

Managed to find ‘Bride’ for my client who’s such a sweetie – wants it delivering to the future Mrs on the morning of their wedding day.  He wanted something that would stand the test of time and grow like their love.  Who says men can’t be romantic.

Fields of Roses

More Roses

Fields of roses – a glorious site on a glorious day.  Remind me again about supermarket flowers and how great they are…..oh yeah, they’re not!  So went along with my list for clients, and ended up getting a wee bit carried away.  Handel (climber at home) has been rehoused as a climber at the plot and replaced with a dusky purple number and the other six will have to wait to be rehoused in the coming week.

Made on the Farm

Needed cooling down and found this rather delicious ice cream – made in Altrincham!  With ice cream, vanilla has to be the first port of call – it has to have real little black flecks of vanilla in it, it did it was spot on.

Not content with just ice cream,  J had plans for the apricots that had been sitting in the fridge for a few days – nut allergy? Sorry this isn’t for you – a whole bag of ground almonds.  There’s not very much of it left.    Enjoy your week!
