Stormy waters

Rod Stewart has a lot to answer for – you want to write a blog about a gynormous wedding set amongst the boats.  Sails tinkling in the wind.  And all you can think of this ‘that’ song.  You know the one.  I’m saying no more.  But it’s now firmly ensconsed.

Resisting the urge. It was beautiful.  English grown delphiniums – spires of blues lilacs and purples, dahlias deep and dark, and mixed with waxflower, white roses and chyrsanthemums. The disappointment was evident. ‘It looks like I’ve just picked them from the garden’.  That my dear is the point.  And not a swear word in sight.
