Second hand rose

Vintage knits. A gift. Imagine being able to pick up a cheap pattern and make something in your colour. Well you still can, but they don’t quite look like this.  Especially the ‘Nordic’ knits. And we err on less acrylic side these days too.

Fruit box arrived today. I get giddy. And crack open a satsuma instead of the biscuit tin. Has to be done.

Dinner. We’re now in the ‘hungry gap’ period. Not that most would know.  But as a veg grower there’s little at the plot – maybe some cavelo nero, chard or spinach. And old faithful the fabulous pumpkin.  Thai curry, all coconutty and delicious. I made enough for five.  There’s two of us. Guess what’s for lunch!
