Star

Anis.  As I told the girls. Don’t maul it, I have to eat that.  What do you think?  Do they look good in buttonholes?

The curly twigs didn’t turn up as usual. So I had the second and then third call out to track them down.  Suppliers, what can one say.  Perhaps best say nothing and just lose a little more hair?

Believe it or not, this isn’t a church.  Well it’s not now. Set where I grew up. I remember it as a child. Just another Mancunian derelict building.  Crumbling, decaying as the decades rolled on.  And look at it now.  So much space to work, and designs that challenge you.  Think big, avoid the cliche of every other wedding (glass vases, coloured water, candelabra).

Texture, and a colour theme of mocha and bronze.  The nuts were perfect. The pomegranates were juicy. The staff at the venue were wonderful. As was the tea. If you see a florist styling a room, chances are they’d appreciate a cuppa.  So thank you.  And thank you to Lauren, you were a little star.
