8.3oam Sunday. Looking for signs of life in the garden. Before back to bed with the papers and slices of homemade bread with cream cheese.
Daffs making an appearance. And you know whatever the weather brings some things never change.
And an afternoon with a giant roast. DJ playing the sort of tunes that make life that little more relaxed. On vinyl. Vinyl that’s a bit scratchy and jumps and makes you feel a little anxious. And then they pick a new tune and it’s forgotten.
No crowds. No five deep at the bar. No shove and push. No Christmas menu’s and set table times. Just twinkly lights, chilled vibes and great food. Perfect for an anniversary lunch. Simply loving laid back January.
Oh and fizzy cherry sweets – guilty pleasures.
