The Seasonal Flower Alliance

011 Bouquetbouquet2Last year I did a serious of blogs called Sunday Bouquet Project.  Made up of flowers and foliages, foraged or picked from the plot or garden.  So far removed from the professional stuff that goes on day to day.  A real chance to embrace those flowers that maybe only last a few days. A fleeting glance at what’s in season that week.

This year it’s The Seasonal Flower Alliance.  And anyone can join in.  Driven by the lovely Erin at Floret Flower Farm in the US.  She has a truly inspirational blog, check it out. I’m a big fan.  So, who’s with us?  Gather up the scizzors and secateurs and getting snipping.

And today’s offering above?  Hawthorn, Cowparsley, Bluebells, Euphorbia, Rowan, Tulips, Aquilegia, Buttercups, Grasses, Sedum and  Elderflower.  In a kitchenaid mixing bowl.

I arrived here via The Seasonal Flower Alliance – I love the arrangement you made! There is something so perfect about wild flowers. I used to live in Rossendale, so know Manchester quite well.

Hi Julie. Thanks for your kind comments. I’ve been checking out your blog too. Very nice Tree Peony 🙂 Whereabouts in Suffolk are you? I have family down that way.
