I awoke around 5.30am. And the first thing that popped into my head? Borlotti beans. It just came to me, this wedding needed a few beans to complete it. They weren’t in the brief. But neither was the Cafe au Lait Dahlia that I have loved and cared for since March. Sometimes you just have to go with your gut.
So they both made it in. With the O’hara roses, always a joy. And all manner of seasonal goodies. The turks turban pumpkins sprayed rose gold and tables dotted with crab apples and more mini painted pumpkins. Lush.
And the bride’s reaction? First thing out of her mouth was ‘I love the borlotti’s’. What a star. Find people who you’re in tune with creatively and you may just get magic beans.
