The plant nobody wanted

3 0301 2 009 022Sometimes I’m left with slightly dodgy looking plants that nobody wants to buy, simply because they’ve stopped flowering.  So I take them home and give them a litte cuddle.  Or in this case the plot and give them a whole bed.  Look at that poppy. In amongst the weeds and other planty distractions, you look up and your heart races. And out come the snips.

It’s been a strange week.  Lots in the pipeline.  A very exclusive launch next week. Calls from location people about shooting in the shop. And meetings about our summer event in the city. Not of course forgetting all the fabulous weddings that are happening.  This week it was 31 tables of scented stocks, delphinium and astrantia with little lavender pots.

Next week?  Yes Fiona it’s yours!!!  I have a little flowery surprise to add to your bouquet. It’s going the be amazing.  And it’s here. Cool huh.
