It’s been a tough week. It was also British Flowers week. Which I pretty much missed in it’s entirety. There was all manner of beauty on my IG feed. So many fabulous growers and talented florists out there.
But for me it was a week of vet visits, anti biotics, anti inflammatories, pain relief and scrambled egg. A very poorly post op pooch, who is now on the mend. So today to give her a little break from mooching around the house we went to the plot. And oh my! Such bounty. Such beauty. So many gorgeous blooms to pick. Here’s a rundown of my little arrangement.
Peonies, garden roses, chive flowers, nigella, apples, poppy seed heads, cow parsley, geranium and the tiniest sweet peas. And something purple that I have no idea what it is, but it looks pretty and well, why not. There’s also a little snail mooching around the dining room. Buggered if I can find it though.
Next week there is so much beauty planned. BIG wedding. The shop is closed on Friday. And there will be four florists trying to fit in the world’s smallest lift with a giant urn. It’s going to be fun.
