with gold pineapples and little cute gold detailing.  Adored the colours in this very relaxed Anglo-American wedding.  The bride was from New Orleans and apparently pineapples are a way of saying ‘welcome’. Nice touch.

The flowers were a complete joy.  A mish mash of homegrown, and locally grown too, lots of peonies, poppies, geums, iris, roses and astrantia.  With pops of the exotic via leucospernum and olive. And those allium Schubertii craziness, like fireworks.

There were trips to the plot, nipping out to the garden, and a visit to a grower friend.  Obviously the weather likes to throw a curve ball so whatever you think it going to be fabulous isn’t and vice versa. Keeps you on your toes.
